Blessed....

This past week was truly a blessed week! Last Saturday was the baby shower for Ella! Thanks to Nicky, Annie, Tina and my Mom for having it. We got so many adorable things and stuff we needed for our trip. It was a great afternoon and we were blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who love us and cannot wait for Ella to come home!!!

We were also blessed to find out that our I800 was signed off on Tuesday and forwarded to the US consulate!!! We sent all of our paperwork overnight to our agency and it was sent on. We are waiting for the Article 5 and after that Travel Approval!!! I mailed out our visa applications today....getting so close now and feeling so blessed!!!

Best Summer continues!

This week we saw not 1 but 2 movies! On Tuesday we saw Happy Feet 2 and on Wednesday we saw Dolphin Tale! We had a great time!!! Tomorrow is the baby shower for Ella, Sadena is super excited about it! And today we recieved the I800 in the mail....only 3 stepto go and we will be on our way for Ella! Time is flying now!!!

Journey 2...

This weeks installment of the best summer ever included going to the movies!!! We went on Wednesday with Annie, Abby and Jack to see Journey 2! It was a great movie and the first one that all the kids sat through without needing to get up at all! Woohoo!!! Looking forward to more movie fun next week!

Ella turns 1!!!

Well yesterday Ella turned 1!!! We were unable to spend her first birthday with her but we sent a birthday care package to her and last night around 10:45 i heard my phone go off.....I got up to find a text informing me that pictures from her birthday were on the way to my email! What a blessing to this mommas heart!!! She looks happy and loved and for now that is all I can ask for! This morning I told Sadena to come and see the pictues and her response was.....ohhh she is sooo cute! Cannot wait until they are together! Enjoy the pics....I know we did!

 

Most fun summer ever....started today!

Well we had plans to hang out at the pool all day but....we woke to heavy rains. After lunch the clouds remained, no sun, but no rain either so we headed to the pool. It sprinkled a couple of times but we made the best of it! I would say a fun time was had by all!!!

Ella Update...

Last night I recieved a text message to check my email as we were recieving some update information and pictures of Ella..... according to the measurements she is approx 19lbs! We also got 3 new pictures and she looks sad in them. These are the first pictures we have recieved where she looks sad......we need to go and get our girl and put that smile back on her face!!!

Pre-K Celebration!!!

I cannot believe it...yesterday was Sadena's pre-k celebration! They grow sooo fast and she cannot wait to start Kindergarten! It really does go by in a blink of an eye! Make sure you are making memories all the time because before you know it they will want to be hanging out with friends and not mom and dad!!!

Awanas Ceremony...

This is a late post  but a couple of weeks ago, Sadena finished up her cubbies book in Awanas at church. She has loved going to Awanas and has learned so much! Kade and Camden also go with her which makes her a happy girl!!!
