Can I tell you when we first decided to adopt, I never realized that not only would we be adding to our little family but joining a much larger family that continues to grow? I love that as adoptive families we have grown into a unique family together. Our kids love to see each other and play together. We share the same stories in building our families through adoption and that makes us unique....who knew in 2006 when we started the process that we would gain a daughter, and now another on the way plus a whole community of friends that I now consider family?
And can I tell you that we LOVE to share in the news of the next child to be coming home? Well we gathered to celebrate that! In late October/ early November the next 2 families from our group will travel! Dannye and Ray will welcome Chynna and Susan and Richard will welcome Hailee! We are all so excited for them.
The next 2 will be Sherri and Todd who expect their referral hopefully by October and then Mike and I will be awaiting a referral! Enjoy the pictures from our fun!

Angie, I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a great time and I was so nice seeing all the new faces. The children are just beautiful and your little one, what a loving little girl she is. It was the cutest thing as Todd and I were walking outside and she thought we were leaving, she ran over to me and said I want a hug before you leave...it takes my breath away! I can't wait to our little girl is saying I want a hug. I'm still working on my pictures...I took 75 of them...putting most to a scrapbooking page, but i'm posting them on our blog.
