Summer Salt Invite!

Today was the day....her very first gymnastics competition. She got up early this morning and informed me that she was no longer afraid of the balance beam...well when she got up there today that appeared to have changed! LOL! I cannot say that I blame her...I would be afraid of a beam 4 inches wide! She looked adorable in her leotard and glittery hair! Nana met us at competition and she was so excited to join her friends and take in every aspect of the day!

She did great on the vault and floor routine and struggled with the beam and the bars but we knew that would happen. After only being on the pre-team since June I say she did very well! She has her next competition in 3 weeks and as her coach says we will look to see where she will improve on her scores at that meet....hopefully the bars and beam! LOL!

We are so proud of her and love that she is so happy in gymnastics!
